Same thing with writing, dressing up is not necessarily to impress, but more importantly to express your individuality. With fashion, you need not just to be creative but also resourceful :p

Being a middle class college graduate who wants to dress up for the world, my sisters and I started exploring Ukay-Ukay shops here in Lipa two months before my Eurotrip 2011. Great thing Ukay stores also have end of season sales which were perfect for my spring shopping spree! Since then, we made Ukay shopping a monthly habit or at least every 2 months depending on the availability of new stocks :p

Here are some UK(ay) tips we learned from experience (chos!)
- Ukay shops are up to date with the latest trends and they are even a month or two advanced compared to the commercial brands.
- Premium pieces like dresses and bottoms are worth P60 and above which, honestly, is pricey already :p
- Ukay stores are best when shopping for coats :)
- Ukay shopping is a test of patience and determination if you really want to find branded stuff and if you don't want to worry about a kambal-get-up :p

So, with all that's said and worn, allow me to share with you our Top 2012 UK(ay) finds! But I won't tell you which is which :p
