Wonder

"You really are a wonder, Auggie. You are a wonder."
Wonder is a very moving novel about acceptance and identity. It describes human nature in different points of view which made the story affective and effective.

August Pullman's physical distinctness brought his family closer, and gave the Breecher Prep middle school an interesting and eventful school year. To himself, Auggie Doggie is just an ordinary ten-year old boy, but to the rest of the world, he's very extraordinary in all sense of the word.

Wonder is a simple read that could easily change your mood from being cheery on one chapter then frustrated on the next. This uplifting novel was my companion during Fort bus rides, and on my healing days in the hospital from dengue :) cool beans! :p

Would like to end this post by sharing the inspiring precepts of Mr. Browne and some of the kids:

"When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind." - Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

"It is better to know some of the questions than all of the answers." - James Thurber

"Your deeds are your monuments." - inscription on an Egyptian tomb

"Do all good you can,
By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all times you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as you every can."
- John Wesley

"Sometimes it's good to start over." - Julian Albans

"Everyone in the world should get a standing ovation at least once in their life because we all overcometh the world." - Auggie
