Oh Singapura!

MNL-SG | photo grabbed from clingy sissy's Instagram account :)
It was another spontaneous trip, pursued by yours truly because I wanted to travel on my 23rd birthday :p Sadly, due to the randomness, wasn't able to celebrate with the whole family, but still enjoyed the Singapore adventure with Mommy and Tricia Mae <3

Singapore welcomed me with a serious greeting from the immigration officer which went like ---

Officer checking my passport: Birth date please.
Me: July 19, 1990
Officer: Happy Birthday.
HAHA!

We stayed at Claremont Hotel in Little India which is just a budget hotel but included breakfast already. Plus, it's super near the Farrer Park MRT Station which made commuting easier :)

Thanks to my dear friend, Mara aka Wisha, who shared a list of where-to's and the traveler's best buddy --- streetdirectory.com :)

DAY 1

We first purchased an EZ-Link card which is a stored value ticket for MRT, LRT, and busses. After which, we explored SG!

Yes, you can travel around SG on your own. You just gotta be alert on signs, know how to read a map, and not be shy to ask the locals. Hehehe. Upon descent in most stations, that's where we usually got lost. Thanks to the fast 3G and kindness of the SG residents, we're able to find our way :) The most pa-hard-to-get was the Merlion Park! We were near-yet-so-far like forever :p

Gardens by the Bay

The obligatory tourist shot :)))
Traveling through the MRT added to the whole SG adventure with the very artistic stations :)

To maximize our first day,  we decided to catch the first bus trip to the Night Safari from Orchard Road. All you need to know about this attraction can be found in their site (www.nightsafari.com.sg) :D

really love the night show and the tram ride :)

DAY 2

Since Day 1 was jam-packed, we spent the whole Saturday at Sentosa, spending a little too much time in Candylicious :p

Malaysian Lunch! Yummy yummy!
Universal Studios is more Mommy-friendly compared to HK Disneyland. Haha! I mean, we tried only two attractions without Mommy --- Ancient Egypt and the Lost World :))) We particularly loved the Transformers Ultimate 3D Battle, Waterworld, and the Spaghetti Space Chase <3

another obligatory tourist shot :p

Madagascar and Far Far Away
Transformers: Ultimate 3D Battle
Waterworld | Ultimate Live Action experience!
super adorable Spaghetti Space Chase!

DAY 3

Last day was all about shopping! :)))

Three days was definitely not enough to experience the full SG culture. Would really go back to enjoy SG at night :)
