Paris: Art and Architecture :)

Almost the whole morning of our fifth day in Paris was spent in Le Louvre. The Grand Louvre is said to be the most visited museum in the whole world. True enough, when we got to the museum, the line was already super long, and all the people did not mind the scorching heat and the time wasted on just falling in line. Good thing, Uncle Alan thought about the other entrance! :D

Nudity/ boob exposure was one major theme common with the paintings. I suppose it's about freedom and passion especially during the early years.

second photo on top: freedom and passion indeed!

And there were the angels/cherubs and the children :)

bottom picture: the face of the blonde child's scary. don't you think?
Of course, people went to Paris (like us!) and lined up for the most popular paintings and sculptures in Le Louvre.

La Pieta
Liberty leading the people: Marvin's favorite
Winged Victory
Venus de Milo
and of course, Mona Lisa! strict crowd control was definitely needed
Another interesting thing about the Grand Louvre is that artists come to the museum and draw inspiration from the famous paintings. I tell you, these two were really good! Their works were even better than the original, in terms of colors and details.

Art, architecture, and Paris combined bring the mental image of a 324m high most visited paid monument in the whole world. Guess we had the same thing in mind, the Eiffel Tower!

On our fourth day in Paris, we ascended the three levels of the Eiffel tower. Honestly, the greatest view was on the second level because the hard wires already surrounded the topmost part. Also, reaching the summit demands additional payment too.

Only the globetrotters went all the way up to the top. And while Uncles Alan and Jorge were waiting for us, something attacked them ---- VANITY!!! haha

Here are some of my favorite shots of us and the beautiful Eiffel tower!

On a different night, we went back to the Eiffel tower. It was breathtaking.

It was such a romantic site. That night was just so beautiful. <3
